About Us
Amazing Grace Ministries is a non-denominational ministry founded in Lugoff, SC by Christ through Bishop Lyndon B. Hutcherson on May 20, 1992 to provide outreach and community services, as well as, Christian study and literature. It has since expanded to include Christ Universal Church, Grace Bible College and Seminary and the Ambassadors Ministerial Fellowship. Our global evangelism and discipleship programs are impacting lives in 9 nations: Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Philippines, Uganda, United States and the Lord is adding daily to the church those that are being saved.
Our mandate is to restore worship and rebuild lives with the Word of God, so that men, women and children will come to accept Christ as Savior and serve Him as Lord through the fellowship of His Church. He wants you, if you have not already done so to repent (turn away from the things that are contrary to God's Word) and fseek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness or way of doing things.
I want you to understand that your relationship with God is dependent upon your relationship with others. For as the scriptures say... "How can you love God whom you have not seen, if you do not love those that you see everyday." You see... unless you and love and peace in your heart, you can't have love and peace with others. We are excited because everyday is another opportunity for us to show the love of Christ to people around us and you are welcome to become a part of our growing cell church family.
I have often been asked... 'why is there so much confusion in the church?' The answer is simple... because there are a lot of confused people in church. That is why there is such an urgent need for effective discipleship programs to help edify the Body of Christ, equip the saints for works of service and bring them to maturity and unity of the faith. People can act Christian or Christ-like without actually becoming a disciple or follower of Christ, but you can't be a disciple without becoming Christ-like. So, our efforts are directed toward global evangelism and discipleship in obedience to the great commission given by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20)
We do not teach religion, tradition, denominationalism, or a system of beliefs; but biblical principles of developing and maintaining a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. It's not about religion... it's about relationship! We want you to understand the mission and purpose of the church and become mature in your faith. We do not discriminate based on race, gender, nationality, disability or socio-economic status for God is not a respector of persons.
It doesn't matter whether you are a member of a local church or not, a Christian or non-Christian, saved or unsaved, an atheist or not. It's not about you, it's not about me, it's not about your church, it's not about your Pastor, it's not about your title, it's not about your power, position or money... it's all about your relationship with God and His divine plan, purpose and destiny for your life! Our Foundational Scripture
Ephesians 2:8-10
"For it is by grace (God's unmerited favor, unlimited power and unfailing love) that we are saved though faith, and not of our own-selves, it is the gift of God; not by works so that no one can boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God has prepared in advance for us to do."
Our Mandate
We have a two-fold mandate from God for our ministries. It is the same type of mandate that Nehemiah and Ezra had restore worship and rebuild lives with the Word of God. We have the same burden upon our hearts. As they partnered with one another, with each one doing his part the people's lives were rebuilt. The tasks is bigger tham any one person or ministry, so let's join hands and get to work. (See the books of Nehemiah and Ezra in the Old Testament) to get a better idea of our mission.
Restoring Worship
Our first mandate is restoring worship. God deserves our worship. He deserves the best worship we can possibly give Him. He deserves the worship of every person. "From the ends of the earth we should hear singing: "Glory to the Righteous One!" In our culture worship has become a major part of the church experience, yet there are many people who enjoy music, but make no effort to sing the words from their heart. We must allow worship to register in your heart before it is spoken through our lips, unless we become like the children of Israel, who worshipped God with their lips, but their hearts were so far away from Him.
Rebuilding Lives
Our second mandate is rebuilding lives with the Word of God because: (1) Every person has a right to a clear presentation of the gospel at his/her level of understanding. (2) Every person has unique gifts that need to be discovered, developed and used to strengthen the Church. (3) Every person needs a biblical moral compass to guide and protect him/her throughout life. (4) Every believer has a part in advancing the global mission of Christ and His church.
Our Ministries
Christ Universal Church - is our congregational ministry comprised of small groups called "cell churches" which meet from house to house for teaching, prayer, breaking of bread (sharing a meal) and fellowship and monthly for corporate Worship and Training. It's not about religion, it' about relationship! Come and be a part of our family of faith that understands that it's not just about a relationship with God, but it's also about our relationship with one another that matters. We can also arrange for meetings in your home or local community where you can be a part of our discipleship and church planting program. Christ Universal Church - "Impacting Our World with the Love of Christ."
Grace Bible College and Seminary - is our educational and training ministry, that offers a Diploma in Christian Theology and Associate Degree in Practical Ministry which can be studied in the convenience of your own home at you own pace. The courses can be studied in one of three ways: (1) Online Bible College, (2) Correspondence/Independent Study by mail. (3) Classroom - classes starting soon at our Training Center in Newnan, GA. Ambassadors Ministerial Fellowship - is our cooperative fellowship of ministers who have joined with us for global evangelism and discipleship, as we establish and expand the Kingdom of God. As Christ's ambassadors, we have a mandate to take the gospel to all nations. Membership is open to all graduates of Grace Bible College. We also offer licensing and ordination for qualified candidates, as well as, church planting, missions and leadership opportunities. If you have a desire for global evangelism and discipleship, need to be trained and equipped for works of service or want or need a spiritual covering for accountability, training and spiritual development then contact us and explore the possibilities. Cell Church Fellowship
You are welcome and invited to joiin us for our weekly Cell Church Fellowship that meets weekly at our Covenant House in Newnan, GA every Saturday @ 5:00 pm for teaching, prayer, breaking of bread and fellowship every Saturday excect the first Saturday of the month when we meet for corporate worship and training.
Worship and Training Seminars
We conduct monthly Worship and Training Seminars in Newnan, GA on the first Saturday of each month. This is the time when we gather for corporate worship with other maturing believers, as well as, receive training in practical ministry. Our next corporate worship and training and seminar is scheduled for Saturday, September 6th from 5:00pm to 9:00 in Newnan, GA. This month's topic: Prayer and Worship -"Practiing His Presence - A Way of Life". Registration is $25.00 per person/$40.00 per couple. Contact us for group rates. Seating is limited, so register early. Deadline to register is August 31st.

Angel Food Outreach
We conduct a monthly Angel Food Outreach to the sick, poor and elderly citizens of Newnan, GA where they can take advantage of our grocery relief program and have a blessing by the box delivered right to their door for $30.00 per box. Each month's menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items. Generally, one box of food assists in feeding a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. The food is all the same high quality one could purchase at a grocery store. There are no second hand items, no damaged, no out of dated goods, no dented cans without labels, no day old breads and no produce that is too ripe. Also offered are specialty boxes such as steaks, chicken and pork. There are no qualifications, minimums, income restrictions, or applications. Everyone is encouraged to participate. We deliver the food boxes for the sick, poor and elderly in Newnan, GA. Contact us if you or someone you know of can benefit from this food outreach.

Bible College Classes
We are now accepting students for Grace Bible College at our Network Training Center in Newnan, GA. Classes are scheduled to start October 27, 2008 and will meet twice a week on Monday and Thrusday evenings from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Registration is $80.00 per student which includes your textbook. Classes are six weeks in duration. Feel free to visit the school site or contact us for course information. All students accepted. Deadline to register is October 15th. Class size is limited, so enroll today and take your faith to the finish line!

Our Invitation
Perhaps you have heard about Jesus from a loved one or read about him... but it is not enough just to know about him, you must accept him as your personal Lord and Savior. Father God, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He shed His blood, died and was raised again from the dead to save me from my sins. I now confess and repent (turn away) from my sins. I want to be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of my sins and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. So that I can walk free from the power of sin and have the power to be a witness of His saving power... I accept Jesus as both Lord (Ruler) and Savior of my life and I want to serve Him through the fellowship of His church. Amen.
